The itinerary
Meet your local driver-guide to begin the journey into the heart of Chagres National Park, deep within the rainforest. Travel up the Chagres River in a traditional wooden pirogue to discover the secrets of the Emberá culture, in a land remarkably preserved in its natural state. Witness Emberá craftsmanship, be enthralled by their music and dance, and gain insight from a shaman who will share the virtues and mystical properties of local plants.
Along the way, you’ll observe diverse bird species, trek through the forest, and swim in a natural pool beneath a refreshing waterfall. Lunch will feature delicious river fish served on a leaf, accompanied by tropical fruits. In the afternoon, return to Panama City, with an estimated arrival at your hotel by 2:30 PM.

What to bring?
We suggest you dress appropriately with light clothes, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or cap and raincoat. You should bring cash for personal expenses.
