Upon your arrival at Panama Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel.  Spend the rest of the day settling into your accommodations and exploring the charming town at your leisure.

Your adventure begins with a private 4×4 transfer from your hotel in Panama City to the coast, where a speedboat awaits to carry you to your sailboat in San Blas. Once aboard, the captain will greet you with a light breakfast and a boat briefing as you settle into your floating home for the next five days. Dive into crystal-clear waters, explore the islands, shop for Kuna-made crafts, and savor a traditional barbecue—your first taste of paradise.

After breakfast on deck, set sail to the central cays. Each island brings new adventures—volleyball, soccer, swimming, or enjoying a coconut cocktail at the island bar. The crew will guide your day’s activities, but there’s freedom to relax, explore, or join a bonfire under the stars with music and stories.

Discover the easternmost, most secluded islands—perfect for snorkeling, exploring, or simply soaking up the sun on white sands. The day is yours to enjoy while the crew prepares for your evening departure toward Cartagena (weather permitting).

Wake to the open ocean stretching before you. Relax, read, play games, or listen to music as you cross 200 nautical miles. Watch for dolphins, marvel at shooting stars, or glimpse bioluminescent plankton glowing in the wake. Freshly caught fish may even become sashimi or ceviche for lunch.

Head to Playa Estero for gentle waves ideal for beginners or longboarders. Experienced surfers can challenge themselves at La Punta, renowned for world-class surf breaks.

Depending on winds and currents, you’ll arrive in the vibrant Caribbean city of Cartagena on day 5 or 6. Your captain will handle immigration while you prepare to disembark. Step onto the port of Manga, just minutes from the walled city, carrying unforgettable memories, new friendships, and the spirit of a truly magical sailing adventure.

After exploring Cartagena’s vibrant streets and colonial charm, you will have a transfer to Barú. 

Spend two days immersed in sun, sand, and the gentle rhythm of the Caribbean. Relax on pristine beaches, savor fresh coastal cuisine, and enjoy serene ocean views—two days of pure leisure, calm, and unforgettable coastal beauty.

Private transfers in both destinations to and from the airport

An English-speaking guide will pick you up at the hotel for a walking tour of Bogotá’s iconic street art. The city has had a thriving creative scene for years, with artists trying to shake off Bogotá’s dark image with street art, precisely by recalling that history. That’s why many of the murals portray a sensitive historical and political message, something that your guide will definitely tell you more about. At the same time your guide will show the “Concordia” market and the street of Candelaria where you will taste the fruits or other typical snacks. Then, you will have an experience of one hour, in a beautiful colonial house located in the neighborhood of La Candelaria. There you will learn about the history and the process of cacao production through your senses (possible to change for coffee). From the cultivation of the seed to the elaboration of the products derived from it. The experience will end with a cup of hot chocolate with typical snacks that are a perfect match, such as almojabanas, amasijos and cheese. You will end up taking the cable car up to Cerro Monserrate, which has a great view over Bogotá at an altitude of 3000 meters where you can enjoy a panoramic view of this immense city. At the end of this 6 hours tour (lunch included), the guide will take you back to the hotel. 

 A driver will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the city of Zipaquirá (journey of +/- 1.5 hours) where you will visit the famous Salt Cathedral, built in 1930 in the tunnels of a salt mine 190 meters below the surface. The tour takes you through the so-called ‘Camino de la Cruz’, a path that represents the last journey of Christ, and leads you to the altar that was built within the mine. Then you will depart to the Guatavita Lagoon; this circular lagoon enclosed by mountains, located at about half an hour from the Guatavita town, used to be a sacred place for the Muisca indigenous people. Legend has it that the village chiefs sank many golden objects to the bottom of the lagoon as a sacrifice to the gods. As a result, the myth about the promised ‘El Dorado’ grew larger and larger, enough reason for the Spanish and other conquerors to search for the pot of gold in the lagoon. The guide will tell you all about the Muisca and the history of Guatavita during the walk to the lagoon. After the tour, you will return to Bogotá.
