The itinerery
We will pick you up from your hotel in San José around 8:00 am and head towards the enchanting Monte Sky Nature Reserve located in the Orosi Valley, dedicated to conserving the local ecosystem. Around 10:00 am, we will reach the park entrance and embark on a roughly 2 km walk along well-marked trails surrounded by lush nature, trees, plants, waterfalls, and natural pools. Along the way, we will stop at strategic panoramic viewpoints to admire the entire Orosi Valley, as well as the Irazú and Turrialba volcanoes.
After our excursion, we will return to our vehicle and drive to the quaint town of Orosi, a tranquil community where life moves at a slower pace, known for having the oldest church in Costa Rica. Here, you will have time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense). The remainder of the afternoon will be spent soaking in the extraordinary natural scenery.
Around 4:00 pm, we will commence our journey back to San José, arriving around 6:00 pm.
