Not to mention the joyful smell of freshly ground heaven in the morning. Would you be able to start your day without this incredible beverage? This tour is for you coffee lovers, for those of you that are used to entering a cafe in some western city and take for granted that coffee is a companion in your day by day routine. Start the day with a hike in the forest of Boquete and then join us in discovering the origin of everyone’s favorite drink.

The itinerary

This tour offers an interesting experience in a large private nature reserve immersed in the luxuriant nature of the valley of the Baru Volcano at an altitude between 1700 and 1800 meters above sea level. The route begins with a walk in the forest and along the paths that pass near a stream with multiple waterfalls surrounded by numerous species of trees, plants and birds as well as various species of monkeys and rodents. After about 3 hours of walking, we will return to the farm to enjoy a delicious lunch based on organic products strictly grown in the reserve. In the early afternoon, transfer to the coffee plantation in an interactive tour that begins with an introduction by a local expert to the process of growing, harvesting, drying, roasting and with the tasting of various types of coffee recognized worldwide and which will leave you with a pleasant memory on a sensory level. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel.
