Latin used to say “in media stat virtus” (the virtue is in the middle ground) and this is what we propose here. A middle ground activity, we hike a bit, to not forget that we have a body that moves and nature is an amazing thing, but also we leave us some time to enjoy ourselves and relax. We first bring you to hike in the Volcano Maderas rainforest to bathe in the waterfalls and then to one of the most magnificent swimming pools you can find around: the Ojo de Agua. Have a swimming suit with you and come with us!

The itinerary

We pick you up at the door of your hotel at 8am, then head to Maderas volcano, for an hour and 30 minute / two hour hike on the slopes of the volcano, crossing cultivated fields and then the tropical forest where live birds, mammals and reptiles live. We arrive at the magnificent San Ramon waterfalls where you can take a shower (the water falls from 50 meters) and enjoy the view.

Then, we continue walking to return to the starting point, get back into the vehicle and drive for 30 minutes to reach Ojo de Agua, a crystalline and natural pool created with thermal waters coming from the volcano. Just perfect for relaxing and unwinding for the afternoon. Return to the hotel at 4 pm.
