Starting in the 1600s, when the Spaniards discovered that the islands were rich in pearls, many politically important and wealthy people, as well as celebrities, continued to keep these islands on the map as a destination for the rich and famous. Nowadays it is still a location for several films and tv shows, it is not so uncommon to meet a crew shooting a movie on this semi-deserted island. We propose to take a break from the busy avenues of Panama city to deep your toes on the white sand of this paradise on the ocean.
The itinerary
6:45 AM: opening time of ferry check-in Isla Flamenco, Amador, where the fast ferry will depart to Isla Bolaños located in the Gulf of Panama about 55 km from the mainland. Boarding and departure at 7:30 AM. During the trip it is possible to cross the large ships heading to the Canal, spot dolphins swimming gently in the moderate waves and whales in transit during the migration in the periods from July to October. Las Perlas archipelago is a group of over 180 islands of different sizes, about 40 islands inhabited and the rest completely uninhabited.
Arrival at Isla Bolaños dock after approximately 2 hours, disembark on the island to enjoy the calm turquoise waters and the palm-fringed white beach. At the disposal of the visitors: beach chairs and umbrellas, bathrooms and showers specially designed for the installation, a covered dining area with tables and benches where we will enjoy a lunch that includes fish or chicken or meat, water and cold tea open bar (juices and drinks alcoholic beverages for sale at the bar). The resort offers kayaking, paddleboard and snorkeling equipment with extra charge to explore the open water area of Isla Bolaños. Time available before boarding the ferry leaving at 3:15 pm. Return to Amador dock around 5:00 pm

What to bring?
IMPORTANT: Original Passport or Panamanian ID is required.
We suggest you dress appropriately with beachwear, comfortable shoes or flip flop and s swimsuit. You should bring sunscreen, sun glasses, a hat or cap, and a change of dry clothes.
