The itinerery

Let’s begin at the lobby of the National Theater, an iconic symbol of the city. From there, we’ll proceed to the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Central Market, which is Costa Rica’s oldest market dating back to 1880. Here, you can find an array of goods, including many culinary specialties. Next, we’ll visit the Chieton-Moreno Market, a museum-market showcasing artifacts from the country’s pre-Columbian cultures (closed on weekends). Our tour also encompasses the Rafael Angel Calderon Guardia Museum, the National Monument, and Democracy Square.

We won’t overlook Barrio Escalante, the city’s trendiest district, known for its newest bars, restaurants, and clubs, where Costa Rica’s avant-garde trends are born.

Arriving around lunchtime, we’ll recommend the best spots for dining and enjoying a refreshing drink together
