The itinerary
Departing at 2:00 pm from your hotel, we journey towards Telica Volcano, passing through the agricultural communities of the area.
Afterwards, we embark on a roughly one-hour hike ascending towards the crater’s mouth. We may hear the rumble of the lava river and witness the entire area illuminated by its glow. If conditions allow, we approach the crater’s edge to glimpse the shimmering lava 120 meters below.
We then settle into a panoramic spot offering an extraordinary view.
Relish the mesmerizing spectacle of the sunset disappearing below the horizon, and celebrate the experience with a cold beer or a soft drink!
Finally, we return to the vehicle with torches and head back to León, arriving around 7:00 pm.
