The itinerery

Day 1: Flight to Ushuaia Arrive in Ushuaia and transfer to your hotel. Settle into the southernmost city in the world, known as the gateway to Antarctica. Take the rest of the day to explore the local shops, restaurants, and stunning natural scenery at your leisure, preparing for the adventures ahead.

Day 2: 4×4 Tour in Tierra del Fuego Start your day early with a 4×4 tour in Tierra del Fuego. Travel north along National Route 3, stopping at scenic viewpoints to take in the breathtaking landscapes. Visit a winter center where you can opt for a snowmobile ride. Continue to Hidden and Fagnano Lakes, navigating through frozen Patagonian forests in Land Rover Defenders. Experience the wilderness as you trek through old woodcutters’ trails, culminating with a traditional Argentinean meal in a cozy shelter.

Day 3: Exploring Ushuaia & Beagle Channel Navigation Begin with a visit to the End of the World Train Station. Ride the picturesque train to Tierra del Fuego National Park, stopping at Maracena Cascade and various panoramic viewpoints. See Acigami Lake, known for its stunning beauty, and explore Lapataia Bay with its beaver dams and vibrant ecosystems.

In the afternoon, set sail on the Beagle Channel. Start with Alicia Island, home to a colony of one-haired sea lions, then proceed to Bird Island to observe royal and imperial cormorants. Continue to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, a symbol of Ushuaia, and explore Bridges Island, learning about the Yámana people and local flora and fauna. Enjoy tea, chocolate, coffee with liquor, and cookies during the trip.

Day 4: Flight to El Calafate & Nativo Experience Transfer to Ushuaia airport for your flight to El Calafate. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, embark on the Nativo Experience. Travel in 4×4 vehicles along the Argentinian Lake within the ‘Estancia 25 de Mayo’ Nature Reserve. Discover the history of the first explorers and the indigenous Tehuelche people. Marvel at the views from the cliffs and explore ancient caves with rock art. Enjoy a unique dinner inside a cave, surrounded by the natural beauty of Patagonia.

Day 5: Perito Moreno Glacier Spend the day exploring the iconic Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park. Drive 80 km from El Calafate to the glacier, where you can walk along the balconies for spectacular views. Board a boat for a closer look at the glacier’s towering ice walls, witnessing the incredible natural phenomenon of ice calving.

Day 6: Transfer to Puerto Natales Travel from El Calafate to Puerto Natales, Chile, by private transfer. Enjoy the scenic 5-6 hour journey through the rugged landscapes of Patagonia, arriving in Puerto Natales in time to explore the town and relax before the next day’s adventure.

Day 7: Torres del Paine National Park Depart from your hotel in Puerto Natales and head to Torres del Paine National Park. Your first stop is the Milodon Caves, a natural monument consisting of three caves and the Silla Del Diablo rock formation. Learn about the ancient inhabitants of Patagonia who believed the devil appeared in these caves.

Continue to Lago Grey, stopping to admire the stunning panoramas of Laguna Sofia, Prat, Lago Porteño, and the Mesa and Ballena hills. Weather permitting, take a walk along the shores of Lago Grey before stopping for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Salto Grande, Nordenskjold Lake, and Paine waterfalls, before heading to Amarga Lagoon. Return to Puerto Natales after a day filled with natural wonders.

Day 8: Hike Sarmiento Lake Begin your hike at the Lago Sarmiento gate, with views of the imposing Sarmiento Lake, a known hunting area for pumas. After an hour of walking, reach ancient cave paintings made 6,000 years ago by Patagonia’s first inhabitants. Continue to Laguna Blanquillos, a nesting and feeding site for various endemic bird species.

After a two-hour hike, arrive at the main access to Torres del Paine National Park: the Amarga Lagoon gate. Enjoy a box lunch with views of the Paine towers. Visit Cañadón Macho to observe guanacos, Ñandú, gray foxes, condors, and black eagles. Return to Puerto Natales, reflecting on the rich history and stunning landscapes you’ve encountered.

Day 9: Flight to Santiago de Chile Conclude your Patagonian adventure with a flight from Puerto Natales airport to Santiago de Chile.
